Jersey Transit Acappella Ensemble - Princeton New Jersey

Jersey Transit performs without instruments, using only our voices and assorted other claps, grunts and Aboriginal clicking noises as are necessary to augment the pure interaction of complex and beautiful vocal harmonies.

Our style is decidedly contemporary spanning a wide variety of influences - from jazz standards, to reggae, to modern pop, gospel, and always with a little comedy thrown in too.

Each year, we give a capstone performance at Spring Sing, an annual all-acappella music festival that moves from city to city nationwide. Come check us out, why don't ya?

Jersey Transit takes lots of inspiration from Manhattan Transfer, you see, but we're from New Jersey, hence our name......We've opened for the Bobs, shared pizza, beer and songs with The Kings Singers, and even had the unmitigated chutzpah to sing rhythm and blues for the incomparable Take 6.
